Cyber Monday boasts some incredible stats, with £968 Million spent in 2015 and £1.1 Billion estimated to have been spent in 2016, and even more predicted to be spent this year.

If you have a small business it’s always a great idea to get involved in special days and holidays that can boost your business profile and sales - this past week has been #BlackFriday and #CyberMonday so here’s some last minute tips to remember to help you jump on board and benefit from the hectic shopping weekend that most of us end up indulging in!
Even if it’s small - offer something

Offering a deal in any shape or form for Black Friday & Cyber Monday is better than nothing. It doesn’t matter what your business has to offer, a strong online holiday sales season can make your whole year a success and increase the awareness of your brand by far!
You can connect with your audience by offering something of great value to them at a discounted price or even personalise deals for each consumer type. Start small and simple and you can always increase the deals as your company grows.
Get the message out there

It’s good to have a brief strategy in place for this time period as it can get quite overwhelming for consumers with adverts and emails flooding their inboxes - so you want to stick to the point and offer something that is relevant to them and perhaps also something unique.
Whether it’s an email or it’s through AdWords or Paid Social, it is worth your time and investment.Use your creative flair

Let it be known you are taking part in Black Friday/ Cyber Monday by posting on your social media accounts, sending emails and updating your website.
A lot of consumers will already be online shopping over this period so it’s crucial to get the message out there! Create eye catching designs and ads - Canva is a great tool to use.Good luck!
